ROI: Return On InnovationTM

Tools, Tactics & TalentTM for Implementing World-Class Product Development

ROI: Return On InnovationTM by Bill Dresselhaus, a veteran product designer and design manager, is a revision and reorganization in an Apple® iBook® format of the original ROI book first published in a paper edition. It is a valuable resource for designers, engineers, managers, business professionals, and entrepreneurs, as well as for students and instructors in these disciplines. ROI has also been used in university courses at a number of international venues.

Sample pages of ROI: Return On Innovation are available in the Apple Book Store. The design and content of ROI is like an innovation cookbook, with images of the "food" and tantalizing, visualized "recipes" for getting there. Consequently it has been designed more like a modular product—a micro-learning communication vehicle—designed, developed and produced to meet a specific set of user needs. Its development has hopefully followed the very principles and processes described within the book itself. Each Page is a single self-contained verbal and visual depiction of a Key Principle or Example. The page layout has been designed for easy navigation of desired information with minimal text and maximum visualization.
